PENDANT

An extremely rare medallion depicting 1920s Rio de Janeiro. This was obviously made shortly after the famous Christ The Redeemer statue was built, as you can see it on the hill. The workmanship is astounding: the hills were made in green gold, and the details include the "lagoa" in the foreground and the Atlantic Ocean in the background. The sunset is enhanced with rose gold, and there's even a palm tree in the foreground! The back is inscribed with the Brazilian name Moacyr.
